- Nursing Home/Hospital Visitations
We also transport people to and from the JCC in West Orange, NJ.
We will transport individuals who use a cane, walker, crutches or wheelchair. If you have an electric wheelchair or scooter, please let us know when you call. We will also transport individuals who use oxygen only if they can carry and maintain it on their own.
Spouses and Aides are permitted to ride with the clients, as long as it is medically necessary.

Please have the following information ready when you call to schedule an appointment:
- Your Name
- Your Address and Phone Number
- Date and Time of the Appointment
- Address and Phone Number of the Doctor or Facility
- Name of the Doctor or Facility
- Is it a round trip or one way?
- Do you have a cane, walker, or wheelchair?
Please remember to schedule your transportation at least 7 days in advance. We would like to suggest that you inform us of an appointment as soon as you are aware of it. Unfortunately, due to limited space, last minute appointments may not be accepted. Please note you may schedule a maximum of 6 appointments per month.
Cancellations/Re-scheduling
If you need to cancel or to re-schedule your appointment, please call within 24 hours.
Transportation Cost
The fee you will pay for a ride is determined by evaluating your monthly income and expenses. The first time you call to schedule an appointment, we will calculate your co-payment amount.
Method of Payment
Please have your co-payment with you on the day of your appointment. Please make your check out to Metro Transport. Put the check in an envelope and write your name and appointment date on the outside of the envelope. Please give the envelope to the driver when you are picked up for your appointment. Please do not pay by cash.
